Two years back, the instructor of Digital Electronics was telling his story of what it likes to be an Engineering student in Nepal, specially student of Institute of Engineering (IOE) under Tribhuvan University (TU). The course Digital Electronics EG677EX which he was teaching according to him was only few years old (less than 10 years!) and he was lucky plus us, the students. His story, however, was not about less than 10 years old curricula which the universities in Nepal still consider to be up to-date and fresh but was about 90% of the courses in Bachelor’s of Engineering (specially for Electronics and Communications Engineering) which were already more than 12/13 years old and still being taught.
The oath of an engineer in his profession, this is a master piece of the work.
I am an ENGINEER. In my profession I take deep pride, but without vainglory; to it owe solemn obligations that I am eager to fulfill.
As an Engineer, I will participate in none but honest enterprise. To him that he has engaged my service, as employer or client, I will give the utmost of performance and fidelity. Continue reading
A week ago, I wrote Starting Revolution with Double-decked eyes : Paradoxical, Revolution 2020: Love. Corruption. Ambition is the latest going-to-be-hit book by Chetan Bhagat – the biggest-selling English language novelist in India’s history (as quoted by The New York Times.) And all of my predictions of that article has come true, and maybe this would be the last book of Chetan which I read. So, I din’t dare to write a review of it. You can’t hurt yourself more knowing it would – atleast you know it, even tho’ you can’t act upon.
‘Once upon a time, in small-town India, there lived two intelligent boys.
One wanted to use his intelligence to make money.
One wanted to use his intelligence to create a revolution.
The problem was, they both loved the same girl.’
Here are inspirational and lively quotes from Revolution 2020, mostly love and ambition centric; and pointed-towards-girl’s nature and human behavior. Page no. follows these awesome, quotations from Chetan Bhagat’s Revolution 2020.
You must have read 7 habits of highly incompetent people by Eric Allen Bell sometimes by now (original author Michael Lee of the highly acclaimed How To Be An Expert Persuader… In 20 Days or Less.) Inspired by this work, I have added 3 more points* to this 7 listed work. This article is NOT intended to be offensive, however. An effective person would address them directly not passive aggressively. If after addressing these people directly, you still aren’t satisfied with these people, move on, you will be doing them and yourself a favor. You can’t control or change other people. You can control and change yourself (as commented by by May). Hope this article gives you way out to be highly competent and of good habits. Continue reading
This is a story of Parul and Rahul. Parul, a 25-year old workaholic who is working in a software firm. Parul came to office at 9 or 10 in the morning and left at 11 or 12 at night. Even on weekends she would come down to office. She had no social life, no friends. The only people she use to be with were her project mates. But there was no assurance that she would be having her lunch or tea with them. Basically she was all a loner. There was no love life in her life and she had no time for love. All her time was devoted to work and nothing more. Continue reading
Realities are bitter as usual. This is with too much of frustration and a big NO NO to WRC, I am finally writing off the web- no matter what the consequences be. WRC will always be the one praised by bunkers and fake students as glued to for years by now. (Do not read below, if you can’t take truth into you.)
While we are still having a huge response to Denmark is a big shame- The sea is stained in red and in the mean while it’s not because of the climate effects of nature, we move to our own country where thousands of animals are slaughtered in the shake of religion. And the Government is dumb. This is the ‘World’s biggest animal sacrifice‘.
This is another visual topic discussion about Sacrificing a large number of animals in Gadhimai,Bariyapur VDC-1, Bara District, Nepal. The Gadhimai Management Committee is bent on slaughtering the animals as per the historic tradition to appease the deity. The sacrifice is scheduled for November 24 and 25 in Bara district. Denmark is a big shame The sea is stained in red and in the mean while it’s not because of the climate effects of nature. Mass killing of animals is absolutely an inhuman activities.
If you are wondering around, just for nothing. Here is what you might want to comment on if you are on I Love Nepal groups in Facebook or alike other groups. That is the virtual world. And this is here about the real world, real Nepali trouble and what Nepal truly holds for. This is just a discussion board topic written by a foreign student (an American wants to study MSc at Pulchowk Campus ….) and read read yourself here.
Finally after a long run, here comes my another crazy abstractness, life is a challenge, face it. The article might not deal with life at all or with life in each paraphrase.
Most of us, shrinking for a reason or the other today, are at a risk, risk of facing life itself as a big challenge. Complications and convictions are the factors. Likewise, it is an inevitable part of pain but the suffering is optional. This is up to you how you make suffering an optional, take risk and face the challenge.
This is not a bygone days’ static frames inside one’s hearty thing like, but life is pure dynamic challenge. I mean to say time bounded, controlled over by the bread not the head. Inundation of love and apathy, oops my common agonistic word selection, are to be flowed with the dynamism of your own thoughts.
Change is again a challenge itself. Towards the beginning of this platform, I used to quote change is development, followed by rectification as positive change. So, get your life a change.
Take sauna or jacuzzi once every week. Don’t go to artificial, steam bath is a nice alternative treatment for ailment removal. Frustration washed is more better than frustration conceived. So, eat hygienic foods and a cup of hard brew/ mocha might increase a little sharpness before you loose everything in dream.
