Were you searching which is the most visited site in Nepal? (assumed that you’re from here, as me)—It’ neither ekantipur nor cybersansar—as the screenshot shows something else.
Visiting Alexa– the web information (Amazon) company, will answer most of the queries about the top sites Globally or country wise.
According to Alexa, Google.com is ranked as the most visited site from Nepal whose description goes (Enables users to search the Web, Usenet, and images. Features include PageRank, caching and translation of results, and an option to find similar pages. The company’s focus is developing search technology).
The following is the list of top web sites and blogs in Nepal rank wise:
- Google.com
- Google.com.np
- Yahoo!
- Windows Live
- YouTube (wow! is the bandwidth really appreciable to support youtube videos???)
- hi5
- Microsoft Network (MSN)
- Blogger.com
- Nagarik News (relatively newer site getting into the list, but by word-of-mouth)
To my surprise, NepalNews.com, eKantipur.com cybersansar.com and tried-being-another-word-of-mouth mysansar.com (got 24th) are all back in the list. Obviously, all the top sites (except nagariknews.com) visited in Nepal are not Nepal originated.
This data is accounted for the month of July 2009. BTW, did I wrote that this blog is ranked 900th.
Once again, don’t get surprised by visiting the top sites list in Alexa.
Nice article anyway

My stay here in Pokhara at the Innocent Children Home was amazing!I have loved every minutes of it .The children are absolutely beautiful people to be around.I feel blessed to be part of their lives.I would love to thanks Krishna and Parbati for opening their home and their hearts to me.They made me feel welcome and very comfortable then became my family away from home.I hope to return one day to Nepal to visit the children and Krishna s family. family.I could not imagine my experience being any better,I feel sad to leave but i know I will be back.Lots of love Tiff
