- Ditto – a powerful extension to the Windows Clipboard, you must have one installed in your Windows machine
- Dropbox – get 16 GB of free online storage space – backup your entire device or share with your friends
- Windows 7 Manager – a must have utility to tune & customize your Windows 7 OS from Yamicsoft
Application purely academic ones
- Microsoft Encarta 2010 with Maths – awesome software you would need one, if you don’t want to do Wikipedia always
- Mendeley – you would know when it is your Thesis or Dissertation time
- MiKTeX 2.9 – typesetting program, again for your Thesis or Dissertation or Technical Paper typesetting
