Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 launched in Nepal at deducted rate

On July 25th, 2009 Sagar International TechnoSys– the authorized distributor of Kaspersky brand information technology products in Nepal — launched Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 and Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 for the first time in Kathmandu. The first official appearance of Kaspersky in Nepal was in 2008.

The products developed in Kaspersky Lab are a new generation solutions to protect users from IT threats. The new version 2010 products have advance Host-based Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) technology which prevent personal computer from the threat of unknown malware and secure computer database- reports Alexander Gnatusin, director of channel, SA.

Sandbox technology provides secure runtime environment and Kaspersky Security Network reduce chances of infection in future. The Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is designed with revolutionary approach to prevent malicious activities in user’s computers.
Kaspersky Lab has made these security tools to prevent computers from tens of thousands of new malicious program appear worldwide every day, according to CEO Eugene Kaspersky.
Sagar Dev Lakhe, CEO of Sagar International, claimed that their product have market share of 92 per cent among individual users and 50 per cent in corporate sector.
Kaspersky security systems have capacity to clean up routine hazards like warms, Trojans and viruses seen in computers. Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 is priced at Rs 1500 for a year which is cheaper in comparison with the original product from Kaspersky online store for $59.95 single user.

  1. Kaspersky can be purchased from more than 160 dealers usually computer sellers around the country including ktm, pkr, brtnagar…
    they provide free updates for 1 year, just carry your pendrive and take the update home with you!!
    Also heard that the license is for 3 pcs ie multiuser license (while the international edition permits a single user only)
